The content:
Week 1: Why you are the way you are
In this module we'll go deep into your head - we'll talk through subconcious patterns - how they're formed and how they can be unformed. We'll talk through how trauma creates fight or flight responses in our bodies and how that gets triggered. We'll also discuss the zone of tolerance, what that is and how to expand it. Lastly, I'll teach you some nifty tricks to identify when you're playing the victim and how to get back into problem solving mode.
Week 2: Emotional regulation 101
In week 2 we dive into emotional regulation - what is it and how to get it. We know that this is a pivotal part of raising kids and we can't teach it if we can't do it ourselves. I'll teach you how to heal your past issues that are preventing you from emotionally regulating and also how to identify and remove coping mechanisms.
Week 3: An overwhelmed generation
The wonderful world of overwhelm - we are a group of overwhelmed people as a general rule, with far too much on our plates and not enough support. This week will be all about how to get out of overwhelm and how to set up systems to support you to stay out of it for good.
Week 4: Patterns & mum guilt
Patterns form in our early life and usually make us the way we are. In this module we'll learn how to identify and break patterns (including working out how they're serving us, they usually are and this is why they're so fkn hard to break). We'll also dive into mum guilt - what it is, when it's useful and how to ditch it when it's not.
Week 5: Figuring out your needs & values
This week is all about dismantling your inner martyr syndrome so you can identify and communicate your needs to your village and actually have a crack at meeting them. Hint: this is a BIG part of emotionally regulating! We also go through why you're struggling so hard to hit your goals - hint - your values are HUGELY pivotal in this area.
Week 6: Communication
In this week we talk about alllll communicating with people in general in a way that will keep everyone happy - no more snapping at your partner because you’ve kept your mouth shut too long. We’re going to have ACTUAL conversations. We also go through different ways that people think to help you to understand others and why they are the way they are.
